One Piece x Seiko Shinkansen Collaboration - Setouchi Blue Model Watch [Pre-order Jan 2027]

We are thrilled to announce a collaboration with the Sanyo Shinkansen, the One Piece Shinkansen, themed after the manga series One Piece! A special collaboration watch featuring the Setouchi Blue train, inspired by the vast ocean, will be released.

In the spring of 2025, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the full opening of the Sanyo Shinkansen line, JR West and the TV anime One Piece have teamed up to launch the ONE PIECE x Sanyo Shinkansen collaboration project . This project will feature three One Piece Shinkansen trains. From the exterior of the trains to the interior decorations, the worldview and character elements of One Piece are packed into every detail.

In particular, the first train in the series, the Setouchi Blue,  which began operation on April 12, 2025 , is designed with the theme of a journey to the Setouchi region. The blue exterior of the train, reminiscent of the vast ocean, is adorned with illustrations of characters from ONE PIECE, including the Straw Hat Pirates, making the Shinkansen journey feel like a real seafaring adventure.

The dial features a beautiful blue gradient design inspired by the Setouchi Blue train's body color. The left and right sub-dials feature the wave pattern from the train's side, while the small seconds sub-dial displays the Straw Hat Pirates' flag. The index at the 1 o'clock position is designed to resemble a straw hat. The hour hand, minute hand, and parts that resemble the train's headlights are coated with luminous paint, so they glow brightly even in the dark.

The chronograph second hand features a special design combining Luffy and an anchor. Furthermore, the gold index at the 10 o'clock position is adorned in a brilliant gold color, befitting the 50th anniversary of the full opening of the Sanyo Shinkansen line.

The back cover is engraved with the ONE PIECE Shinkansen logo and a serial number, signifying that it is a limited edition of 5,000 pieces worldwide.

The watch is housed in a special collector's box designed to resemble a treasure chest from an adventure, exuding a full-on adventurous atmosphere reminiscent of ONE PIECE. The lid of the box is luxuriously foil-stamped with the One Piece Shinkansen logo.

The inside of the box features the main visual for the ONE PIECE × Sanyo Shinkansen project, and an illustrated guarantee card is also included.
