[Story]
The melody he heard. It was etched into his heart. Ever since that day.
Sota, a researcher at a chemical manufacturer who has been assigned to work in Bangkok, has a chance encounter with Kai, his first love who suddenly disappeared during their university days, on his first day there.
The melody that Kai played back then still echoes repeatedly in the depths of Sota's heart. Kai, who has been working as a photographer and continuing to make music, is moved by the unexpected reunion.
As they spend time in Bangkok, a city where hustle and bustle and silence intertwine, the six years that have passed begin to close, but Sota, who is cautious about everything, keeps his
feelings locked away, remembering the pain of his unrequited love for Kai in the past, telling himself, "It's probably impossible." He tries to treat Kai as before, but he feels an unexpected distance between them as Kai has become independent and strong in a foreign country.
Meanwhile, Sota hears a rumor that Kai will be performing for the first time at a live show an unfinished song he's been working on since his student days—a song he wants to share with someone he likes first—and is overwhelmed with unexpressed emotions.
The two, who care for each other, keep missing each other. What will become of their unrequited love?
