BLEACH, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump, boasts a cumulative circulation of over 130 million copies and enjoys enduring popularity worldwide even after its conclusion.

The TV anime, which began airing in October 2004, has produced over 360 episodes to date, and has also spawned four feature-length animated films.
And now, the curtain rises on the anime project for the series' final chapter, "The Thousand-Year Blood War."

The director and series composition is handled by Tomohisa Taguchi, who has demonstrated exceptional visual talent in numerous works.
Character designer Masashi Kudo and composer Shiro Sagisu are original members who have supported the BLEACH anime from its very beginning.
As with previous series, Pierrot will be in charge of animation production, and from the third cour onwards, Tomohisa Taguchi will serve as general director, with Hikaru Murata, who served as chief director until the second cour, joining as new director. The production will be handled by Pierrot's new brand, "PIERROT FILMS," which aims to produce high-quality animation.

The final series, brought to you by a team of highly skilled staff members, is truly worthy of a "final battle."

Where will Ichigo Kurosaki end up?

Even though a future of destruction is foreseen at the end of a thousand-year blood war between Shinigami and Quincy,

the Royal Guard's Zero Division confronts Yhwach as he attempts to enter the Soul King's Palace.
However, the Quincy King and his bodyguard overcome the Zero Division's magnificent Bankai and finally enter the Soul King's Palace.
Ichigo Kurosaki and his comrades are entrusted with protecting the Soul King by Hyosube Ichibei.
However, due to Yhwach's scheme, Ichigo ends up slashing the Soul King with his sword.
The death of the Soul King means the collapse of the three realms.
"Distortions" appear in each realm, and signs of destruction begin to cover the world.
The Gotei 13 join forces with the remnants of the Quincy and head towards the Soul King's Palace.
However, the Soul King's Palace had fallen into the hands of the Invisible Empire and transformed into the True World Castle.
The Royal Guard awaited the Shinigami in the castle, which soared into the sky as if mocking them.
Fierce battles raged between the Thirteen Court Guard Squads and the Royal Guard throughout the True World Castle.
Ichigo learned Uryu's true intentions, and as friends who trusted each other, they renewed their resolve to protect the world.

Yhwach had become a being that surpassed even the omniscient and omnipotent The Almighty.
The epic battle for the survival of the three realms was heading towards its end.
