Kamado Tanjiro joins the Demon Slayer Corps, an organization that hunts demons, in order to turn his sister Nezuko, who has become a demon, back into a human.
After joining the Demon Slayer Corps, Tanjiro fights various demons alongside his comrades Zenitsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibira, growing stronger and deepening his friendships and bonds.
Tanjiro also fights alongside the Pillars, the highest-ranking swordsmen of the Demon Slayer Corps. In Mugen Train, he battles the Flame Pillar Kyojuro Rengoku,
in Entertainment District the Sound Pillar Tengen Uzui, and in Swordsmith Village the Mist Pillar Muichiro Tokito and the Love Pillar Mitsuri Kanroji.
Later, in preparation for the upcoming decisive battle against demons, he and the other Demon Slayers participate in the joint training exercises led by the Pillars, known as "Pillar Training." It is at this time that
Muzan Kibutsuji appears at the Ubuyashiki Mansion, the headquarters of the Demon Slayer Corps. Tanjiro and the Pillars rush to the aid of their master, but
are thrown into a mysterious space by Muzan.

Tanjiro and his companions land in the demons' stronghold, the Infinity Castle—
the final battle between the Demon Slayer Corps and the demons is about to begin.
