Evangelion: Rebuild Yoshitoku x F:NEX 1/4 Scale Figure - Rei Ayanami Japanese Doll [Pre-Order Jul 2027]

Yoshitoku x F:NEX's 20th Japanese Doll Figure is Rei Ayanami.

From Furyu's high-quality hobby brand F:NEX comes a Japanese doll figure of Rei Ayanami from Evangelion: New Theatrical Edition.

As a special item to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Evangelion, F:NEX has teamed up with Yoshitoku, a long-established Japanese doll maker, to create this figure. Rei's quiet and dignified presence is expressed through luxurious tailoring using real kimono fabric.

The coloring, based on blue and silver reminiscent of her plugsuit, is accented with red and salmon pink, resulting in a finish that conveys Rei's characteristic transparency and the elegant splendor unique to a kimono.

A special item to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Evangelion. Please welcome Rei Ayanami, now a Japanese doll figure, into your collection.

The costume prototypes were created by doll artist Ayumi Uyama. Drawing inspiration from the movements of Japanese dance, she translated each character's personality into the elegant kimono attire unique to Japanese doll figures.

The kimono fabric was created in collaboration with Nishimura Shoji Shoten, a long-established textile merchant in Kyoto. Based on the colors reminiscent of each plug suit, the kimono was tailored to have a gorgeous feel. You can enjoy the texture and beauty of the patterns that only genuine kimono fabric can offer.

The obi (sash) uses gold brocade produced by "Mori-san," a Nishijin weaving company in Kyoto. While featuring classic auspicious patterns, each piece highlights the unique character of the design.
