This is the 88th graph from the opening color feature of the March 2021 issue of "Monthly ASUKA".

These items were sold at the "D・N・ANGEL Exhibition" held at "Marui City Yokohama" from May 14th to June 6th, 2021, and at "Daimaru Umeda Store" from August 21st to September 4th, 2021.

Comment from Yukiru Sugisaki:
This is a picture I drew because I wanted to make use of the color blue.
It's a dark piece that I drew right after resuming the series after a long hiatus, so I personally think there's still a sense of exploration in it, but
I drew it because I realized how much fun it is to draw dark things.

Regarding the software I use,
I mainly use CLIP STUDIO PAINT EX.
I always draw the rough sketches (sometimes even the preliminary drawings) traditionally.

- Points I focus on when drawing:
I value creating an atmosphere or a sense of temperature that makes the viewer want to imagine what happened before and after the picture.

Regarding the most challenging aspects of the artwork and the production period, I completed this illustration in one go, from conception to completion.
While CG allows for endless adjustments to things that bother me, I generally prefer not to do so to create something closer to my initial feeling, so I
always have to convince myself not to adjust this part a little more.
As for DN, I tried to draw it by pulling from the depths of my memory as much as possible the feelings I had when I first started drawing it, so
there was a battle between my current self and my past self...that was the most challenging part.

took care to ensure that the black details weren't lost and that the image wasn't too dark.
We spent a lot of time on recreating the skin tone and highlighting the areas.
