Godzilla S.H.MonsterArts - Biolante Battle of Wakasa Bay Ver. [Pre-Order Dec 2026]

From the 1989 film Godzilla vs. Biollante comes the bio-monster Biollante.

This figure has been brought to life in a large, imposing scale that matches its on-screen presence. The prototype was sculpted by Fuyuki Shinada, who created the Biollante filming suit for the movie back then. Every detail—from the plant-like features to the animalistic head and fangs—faithfully recreates the character’s appearance as seen in the film.

Painting
The overall color scheme is based on poster colors, with brush-painted accents added in various areas to simulate lighting effects. This recreates the color scheme designed to look its best on screen. In addition to replicating the poster colors, detailed accents were added to evoke the intense battle scenes in Wakasa Bay.
Glossy coloring was applied in various areas to recreate the appearance of being wet with water.

Articulation
Despite its large size, the figure incorporates articulation throughout, allowing you to recreate various poses characteristic of Biollante from the film. Ball joints are used at each section of the four vine parts. Since each can move flexibly, you can achieve the iconic, twisting poses of the vines seen in the film.

ver. A.N.I.M.E.
The chest features a light-up function ver. A.N.I.M.E.. By flipping the switch on the bottom of the figure, you can enjoy both red and orange lighting effects.

When displayed alongside the separately sold S.H.MonsterArts Godzilla (1989) ‘Godzilla vs. Biollante -Movie Graphic Plus-, you can recreate various scenes from the movie.
